![]() ![]() I do enjoy me some pixel art though so that may be part of it, and for sure the pixels hold up way more than say ff7's early 3d poly's. With sukoden 2 at least, story hooked me right off and I really enjoyed it still. Had I played it at the time I might have made it easily, but going back was hard. If you go farther back to say SNES rpg's they are hard to play from scratch because there is so little dialog and the dated systems etc, like chrono trigger was one I didn't finish off etc. This game I got hooked on it and was able to take it all the way to the end despite it being an older RPG game, the story holds up really well and is enough writing to stand with modern games. I usually set up emulation all the time then play a bunch of games for 5 minutes each for a quick nastalgia shot and that's it. I mention it because this is an outlier for me typically. It was even really nice with some of the crt shaders on. I managed to get through s2 on retroarch surprisingly easily about 3 years ago. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
